Hi Friends-
What a subject line, right!? Hold onto your hats and I will update you about that in a few, but a few housekeeping items...
Woohoo! Recently I hit 200 people in "The Surrendered Life" community! But with growing pains and finishing out my year of homeschooling little people strong, I missed that I had hit a ceiling on my email provider. What does this mean - it means that ANYONE who tried to "subscribe" in 3 specific weeks in May...well, it just drifted out, with no one none the wiser. I didn't realize until it was too late that there had been a problem! SO, if I could be so bold to ask - if you know anyone who may have "signed up" during this time, could you please let them know what happened and to SUBSCRIBE again. The provider I use will ensure there are no double emails, so that issue would iron out itself. THANK YOU!
Ok, so now on to fun stuff (although hitting 200 is a huge praise and certainly fun!)...
Some of my most recent meanderings:
- My FIRST devo on IFA! "Living on the Right Side of Glory" This is a 6-day series - and highlights keeping our eyes on His Kingdom and His Glory. My heart is completely laid out on the table with this one!
- An Encounter with His Glory - This is what birthed the above devotional. "If we but touch the hem of His garment… If we have experienced His touch, His power, His healing, His miracle working… If we have experienced a life transformed, overcome obstacles, found freedom, been delivered and set free from bondage… If we have seen His resurrection power in our lives, our marriages, our children, our churches, and our communities… If we have been made BRAND NEW and been SAVED – why are we living on the wrong side of His Glory; why are we living for anything other than HIM?"
- "Why the Nation's Eyes Are on IFA's County" - Learn a little more about Critical Race Theory and what parents and teachers have to say about it. The CRT debate has blown up in my county and has earned us the national spotlight on this contentious issue. On the same day this article posted, I had the pleasure to be on the "Pray with Others" call with Nancy Huff and Judy McDonough this week - talking and praying about education specifically.
- Eyewitness: What Really Happened at the Loudoun County School Board - This is my firsthand account of what I saw during the public comment section of a very tumultuous board meeting. More than 250 people had signed up to make public comment, with only 51 people actually being allowed to speak. After the board meeting was shut down, many of us still gathered to share our concerns. Click here to hear what I had to say.
Blessings to all of you,
Suni Piper
